Wow, what a summer that was! I really hope your summer was as fantastic as mine. It’s always bittersweet for me to welcome the fall season at first. But I do look forward to the change and all the different activities that come with a new season.
It’s sweater weather and light jacket season and of course those gorgeous plaid scarfs to be had. I’m looking forward to the beautiful change that occurs this time of year right outside my windows. There’s something about fall being so short and sweet that makes me relish that crisp air ever more so. My favorite thing I look forward to the most are cozy evenings by the fire. Fall season in Connecticut is amazingly picturesque, like right out of a movie scene. It really is beautiful!
This is also the time of year when my oven goes into high gear. I love to bake and I’ll be making pumpkin and apple pies with my little sidekick right away!
